Showcasing the most outstanding objects from Notre Dame's Snite Museum of Art, the Selected Works catalog won an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA magazine and was included in the December 2006 issue.


Honorable Mention
University and College Designers Association (UCDA)

Showcasing objects from the Snite Museum of Art, the Selected Works catalog received an Honorable Mention in UCDA's annual design competition.

Best described as a "typographic novel", The Book of Portraiture won an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA magazine and was included in the December 2006 issue. The design also received positive critical acclaim from the American Book Review.


Design Education Community of Interest Steering Committee
AIGA, The Professional Association for Design

Appointed to the position of Vice Chair on the Steering Committee for AIGA's Design Education Community of Interest. The purpose of the committee is to help the national design organization become a leader in design education and a resource for educators both nationally and internationally. Examples of the initiatives that the ten-member committee is addressing include a survey of design programs throughout the United States (size, number of faculty, salary survey, facilities, technology, etc.) and setting four event national conference schedule for the next two years. The committee confers monthly via teleconference and once a year at face-to-face meetings in New York.
