My personal research is focused on the life-changing impact that design can have when applied appropriately and collaboratively with organizations dedicated to social betterment. To that end, I am currently working on a project with Notre Dame's Haiti Program, under the direction of Fr. Tom Streit, CSC, that is addressing the identity and packaging of co-fortified (DEC and iodine) salt throughout Haiti. This project serves as an important example that heightens the awareness of and reliance on graphic design to help achieve broad-based social and cultural advancement throughout the world community.
