The Chapin Park Historic District was first listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The neighborhood has one of the highest concentrations of architecturally significant structures in the city of South Bend, Indiana. The typographically eclectic logotype highlights the Victorian era's penchant for simultaneously employing several different typefaces, and also mimics the variety of Victorian-era homes in the neighborhood.
