The logo for the Snite Museum of Art is a simple, brushstroke interpretation of Notre Dame's best-known physical structure, the Golden Dome atop the Administration Building. To further bond the Museum to the school, the words "University of Notre Dame" are always meant to be seen in the same visual field as the logo. The formal combination of the illustration with the type is meant to give emphasis to the word "Art."
